A prayer for mercy

Luke 18:13
13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

O Father, how we need to humble ourselves at your throne. You are merciful and gracious to allow us entrance to you through your Son, Jesus Christ. Remind us all of the holiness and maturity that you expect from us. Remind us how that honors you and shows our gratitude for redemption. Bless us now that we may be pleasing in your sight. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

A prayer for faith

Mark 9:23

 ²³Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Dear Father, I pray that Michelle believe in you with all her heart. Help her to live with lively faith.

Forgive her of her sins and have mercy on her. In Jesus’ name. Amen

A prayer for light/sight

Luke 18:41

 ⁴¹Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see.

Thank you Father for the gift of sight, both physical and spiritual. May your light shine on Michelle, warm her, light her way. As she comes in contact with others grant her the reception of open arms and minds. Shine your light and love all through the White House as her family reflects your love. Strengthen and keep as only you can. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the light of the world I pray. Amen

A prayer for guidance

Acts 9:6 

 ⁶And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Father, thank you that you choose to call us and use us. Thank you that you allow us to hear your voice and respond. Thank you that you have a wonderful plan for each one of us. Thank you for all that you are using Michelle to accomplish. Thank you that with all of the opportunities and ventures in front of her she takes most seriously her role as wife and mother. Help her hear your voice when you call and recognize the path you would have her take. Cause others to pray your protection for her family. Thank you that you are able to handle all we present to you and more. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
