I need God when my heart is overwhelmed

Psalm 61: 1 – 2 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. ²From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Perhaps there are days Lord when Michelle feels overwhelmed. I know about those days and I have come to know that you Lord God are only a heart cry away. Remind Michelle of her need for you and your willingness to hear and answer us when we call. Thank you for being our God. In the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen

Prayer to God for Strength

Stir up in Michelle the hunger and thirst for you. Thank you for being able to provide and supply all of her needs, according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Amen.

A prayer for peace in our lives

1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Father, our world is full of chaos and confusion. There is so much darkness in the hearts of men. Hold back the night, drive away the enemy as only you can. Preserve us in peace, peace that passes all understanding. May your blessings continually be upon Michelle and her family. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

A prayer of confidence in God

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Dear Father, Thank you for the example of our Lord Jesus Christ who showed us what to do in times of trial, persecution and distress. Help us to call upon you, cry out to you, and commit ourselves to you. In those times when it seems like we can’t do anything right. On those days when it seems that no one understands or is our side, cause us to remember, cause Michelle to remember that Jesus found His strength, His will to continue doing what you sent Him to do in crying out. You are our very present help in time of trouble. Thank you again Lord. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
