Thank you for Michelle’s life.
Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy.
Father, thank you as always for Michelle, her family, her life, her influence. Keep her, protect her, guide her, guard her. Draw her closer to you each day. Cause your Word to dwell in her heart richly. Create in others the desire to pray for her and all that surrounds her. May your hedge of protection be an invisible, invincible shield around her. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge...
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Thank you Father for the opportunity to be in relationship, personal and intimate relationship with you. You are the almighty and only God of this universe, you are sovereign and hold everything in order, yet you still love us. Cause us and especially Michelle to crave the experience of fellowship with you. You promised that if we seek for you, we will find you. Thank you that your Word is true. We are ever grateful for your attention to us. These prayers we offer in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.

Wisdom is the principal thing!
Author’s note: For the months of March and April all our Scriptures will be from the Book of Proverbs. “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom.” Proverbs 4:7. We will be praying for Michelle’s relationship with the Lord and the impact of her life on her family and those around her. Thank you for following along as we pray for Michelle Obama and the First Family. We also thank the Lord up front and in advance for His guidance and protection. May the blessings of an intimate relationship with Him keep us all. Bless you, Leslie

A prayer for mercy
Luke 18:13
13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
O Father, how we need to humble ourselves at your throne. You are merciful and gracious to allow us entrance to you through your Son, Jesus Christ. Remind us all of the holiness and maturity that you expect from us. Remind us how that honors you and shows our gratitude for redemption. Bless us now that we may be pleasing in your sight. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

A prayer for guidance
Acts 9:6
6And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Father, thank you that you choose to call us and use us. Thank you that you allow us to hear your voice and respond. Thank you that you have a wonderful plan for each one of us. Thank you for all that you are using Michelle to accomplish. Thank you that with all of the opportunities and ventures in front of her she takes most seriously her role as wife and mother. Help her hear your voice when you call and recognize the path you would have her take. Cause others to pray your protection for her family. Thank you that you are able to handle all we present to you and more. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Back on Track

It's hard to believe so much time has past since last posting. I am retired now and getting used to a new life and lifestyle. I have however, continued to be in prayer for Michelle and her family. I hope you have too. For now posts will appear every Monday. As always feel free to post your own prayers. I continue to be grateful to God for our President and his family. This blog is dedicated to the health, safety and well being of the Obama family and in particular Michelle. Thanks for stopping by. Leslie
