God shall wipe all tears...

Revelation 21:4 God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.

Father, I can only imagine the joy of having your hand wipe the tears from my eyes, never to have to shed a tear again. I know it will make every tear shed worthwhile. Keep Michelle’s heart in your hand until then and we will try to wait patiently for that blessed day. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

You are the potter, we are the clay.

Isaiah 64:8  O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see we beseech thee, we are all thy people. - -

Father, thank you being a God who is willing to work on us and in us. Thank you for your patience and longsuffering with us when we sin. Thank you that we are your people and are called by your name. Remind Michelle each day of her place in you and her responsibility to give you glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

Clothes yourselves with … patience.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Father, many in the world are fascinated by what Michelle wears. Thank you for Michelle’s inner strength and determination to focus on weightier matters. You also want us to be clothed on the inside with the evidences of your presence. Shower your grace upon Michelle so that she is a reflection of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen

The fruit of the Spirit is…patience.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Thank you Father for the indwelling and infilling of your Holy Spirit. Fill Michelle with your Spirit and as the Spirit conforms her to the image of Christ that the fruit of patience would shine forth from her life. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

Hold on! Don’t give up!

Hebrews 10:34 – 36 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. 35Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Thank you Father that in the long run there is nothing better than heaven. Cause Michelle and all of us to remember not to give up in the short run. Help us not to quit, give up or throw in the towel. Keep us pressing on. The reward for hanging on is great. Give us patience as we do your will. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

Tribulation, experience and hope

Romans 5: 3 – 4 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience;  4And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Thank you for the opportunity that trials present to us Father. You have said the learning experience will create patience in us and in becoming patient we gain experience because we can take in what’s happening without frustration, anxiety, or impulsive actions. Thank you for the hope that comes from watching you work. Thank you that you have Michelle’s back, thank you for being in complete control. Thank you that we can trust that completely. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

Let patience work in you

James 1:4  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Dear Father, give us patience. If we allow patience to work it’s perfecting work in us then we can look forward to being complete, mature and entire in you. Cause Michelle’s heart to seek completeness in Christ, for when we have that we have everything we need. Thank you for being our God and having patience with us. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

Strengthened by His might, patient with joy.

Colossians 1: 11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.

Dear Father, Your glorious power gives us strength and in that strength, we can have patience with joy. Sometimes Father, days are long, sometimes trials are long and do not seem to have an end. Remind Michelle, remind all of us who call on the name of Jesus that the ability to hold on and hold out comes from you and that we can endure, not with a weary spirit but with joy knowing that you never leave or forsake us, and that you will carry us through. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

James 1: 2– 4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Dear Father, We can count on trials coming. James says - don't be surprised or think it's some strange thing that should not be happening. I pray for Michelle that she may be able to "count it all joy". Rejoice?  Yes, be glad that you are providing her with an opportunity to grow. Just like the little seedling in our picture, growing strong through adversity. Keep her eyes focused on you Lord, keep her heart filled with your presence. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Patience

Jas 1:4..............But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Father in heaven, Our world is in a rush, a hurry, no time to wait. Teach us to wait on you. Our lives are a jumble of appointments, meetings, to do lists and tasks. Teach us to sit with you. No matter how busy, no matter how flustered. May Michelle learn, as we all must, to look to and wait on you. In Jesus Name. Amen
